I’m not sure if this is possible with step files but I don’t see why not. It would require to shift in space the model to avoid overlapping previous version when loaded.
It's version 3 that's got me really focussed on the full 3D model, since I can imagine that the stress concentration where the thread stops could be high, and that's just in one circumferential locati
I'm sure you can imagine that an axisymmetric version would treat the thread as being a all the way around, the diameter would be increasing and decreasing and I don't know that that would give me an
I'm using CCX 2.17 with Pardiso, but as far as I know is "in core" version, that will try to fit all the model inside RAM, there are other cersion "out of core" that put some part
@Victor, using the beta version, I have defined a quasi static no lineal analisys, but this definition is not keeped when I open again the analisys definition window. Have closed and reopened the mode
Just one question: can we install v14_beta side by side with v13? I'm in the middle of a project and I wouldn't want to lose access to the fully functioning version.
the speed up may very. some of my codes were 2-3x faster. some were about the same. since the ccx pardiso version is using the intel mkl already, the solve might not be much faster. however, if there
@prop_desing, that´s means that a CCX version compiled with this new compiler will be fast than the same using other one? And this compiled version (executable) can be distribuited also, or there is s
@Victor, have tested a few minuts ago the internal default Netgen mesher against the last standalone version, and activating the multi thread option in the standalone there is a big difference in time
@dculp. Netgen 6 can mesh some models that the default one can't, as you've seen. But it's also slower and I think there are some cases where it does worse than the default one. There isn't really a
The messages are meant for the Netgen program. The topology explorer is in Netgen. So the messages don't really apply to Mecway. The base Netgen option is a modified version of an older Netgen program
It includes a setting that simply turns off the size limit! If it doesn't show any side effects, this fix will also be included with the next version (14) which is coming soon.
Hi Victor, would be possible in the next version to have the velocity results saved by default in dynamic response analysis? Now as is not saved, i'ts necessary to re-run the calculus if one missed to
