Attached is an example of how we turn on thermal contact. It requires a custom step file and we usually have to include the full load set in there as well. It works, but not exactly a "desk friendly" method. Can anyone suggest something simpler?
*GAP CONDUCTANCE can be temperature dependent. Have you try to switch on once you reach a certain temperature at the interface?. If you run a first analisys you could get the time_temperature evolution so CONDUCTANCE(Temperature) could be expresed as CONDUCTANCE(time) if you prefer to switch at a certain time. Note temperature values used in the conductance definition are the mean temperature of slave and master surface.
