Clay arch simulation.
Good evening COMMUNITY and VICTOR:
I enclose and example of a clay arch simulation on MECWAY 14th,+CCX2.19 using COMPRESSION_ONLY materials(see "Custom model definition").
The arch is 7 meters span and bears traffic on this top. The cross-´section is made of 45cm thick clay-brick arch and a concrete cover on this top. To get the simulation I performed a non linear 3D analysis. I recommend you to peer the "formulas" for appraising the material withstand. The rar file attached contains the FREECAD 3D model.
