Hi, I'm using version 23. Two issues got my attention: Calculation of the nodal stress using average over all adjacent elements and uniqueness of the element stress.
Mecway 23 used .Net Framework 4.5 so if it still doesn't work, maybe try that ( https://mecway.com/download/oldversions/mecway230.msi ) to see if the framework version change is the problem.

Version 26 is less restrictive here and allows slave nodes to also be master nodes of other bonded contacts so you can avoid the problem in some cases by swapping master/slave surfaces.
don't get a midsurface tool in the whitelabelled version, it's about 4 clicks to get the same result using the direct modelling tools. You can also defeature and repair faster and more robustly than
The IT guy has installed today the new version, and it looks like it uninstall automaticly the old one. I didn´t pay attention if there was a check box for doing that.
This is quite exciting. OpenRadioss is an open source explicit dynamics solver. Mecway's support for it is currently quite limited and some details might change in future because I'm not very familiar
Generally, you shouldn't use the linear elements, especially in bending because they're terrible like this. However, the next version of Mecway will have incompatible mode hex8 elements which are much
