I drew the cross-section of a flat-bottom tank in autocad and imported to Mecway as a dxf. If I revolve the full section, I receive an error stating that some elements are badly shaped. The elements that are shaped badly are those lying on the axis of revolution (lots of elements converging to a single point). I could include a hole at the axis of revolution to keep this convergence of elements from occuring but, I'd like to know if I'm missing a simpler solution that would allow me to model the entire top and bottom of a tank or vessel without this issue of badly shaped elements occuring. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
