Missing Displacement Results from Nonlinear Stress Simulation
I think I sorted this out already, but for anyone else having difficulty ...
On Mecway v13, I set up a nonlinear static 3D analysis with some large (15 mm) displacement boundary conditions. I solved using CCX v2.16 called from within Mecway. It gave me VM stress, a set of specific stresses (XX, XY, etc.), and the stress % error as results, but not the displacement.
Based on another post in this forum (https://mecway.com/forum/discussion/comment/4627/#Comment_4627) where they had displacements but not stresses, I tried adding displacement to the analysis through Solution->New Displacement and Velocity->Displacement and then ran the solver again. This made the displacement results visible and selectable.
