Torsion in 1D with general section properties
Hello everyone,
Calculix supports element type U1 for creating of 1D element with general section properties. The limitations are in torsion constant I12 and offsets. Is there is a way to avoid the torsion properties limitation in U1 element? Or exist another way how to consider 1D element with full access to general section properties I11, I12, I22? The standard sections like rect, pipe and box are not suitable. Also, the approximation of 1D behaviors by 2D/3D FE doesn't work for me as well.
