I have two similar models (Tet10) With the second I receive CCX appcrash without any message from solver First model 357655 nodes is ok...the second 398669 give appcrash
I attach liml of the second to understand if is a RAM problem with spooles (I have 32 gb)
lol at sergio and JohnM. same thing with me as well wrt Spooles. yes, i'm curious about PaStix as well too. i hope it will become easier to have a windows version of it. right now it looks to be a bit of a pain to get it going. Guido is saying he saw a 4x improvement over intel mkl pardiso. that seems hard to believe, but if true, that's one heck of an improvement. the intel mkl pardiso version of ccx was already a big improvement over the spooles and arpack version of ccx.
interesting. i have been wondering if scotch was better than metis. so scotch is slightly faster it seems. the difference from pardiso was 1.3x. much more reasonable than what the ccx website had said.
Would be great to have this instruction (install Pardiso and configure multiprocessor) as a stikie post in the forum (very like the welcome post), lot of people ask for them.

Thanks
CCX simply stopped after 3minutes, no error report,
Solver exited without a solution.
With ccx_pardiso I have a solution of more than 650k nodes model in 3 minutes
PS After one year I completely remove from my mind ccx_pardiso. Too much work hurts!
