Looking at a couple things: 1. the force and deflection to open the latch. 2. the lift force from the print bed because of plastic shrink when printing. I applied a thermal gradient to simulate and added some relief slot in the middle of the long runs based on the results.

I'm impressed with Mecway. It is a good value for me.
