Change Node Selection to Elements
I was wondering why I could only select nodes by formula, not elements, but discovered I could change the selection to elements after selecting the nodes 
Might i suggest the manual sect. 3.3 add mention that you can change a selection from nodes to corresponding elements or faces and vice versa, by clicking on the desired 'select' button after making the initial selection.
