Joule heating

Dear all,

I would be interesting in simulating the Joule effect in an electrical connector. I do not know how to link in version 10 the DC current flow by importing the heat generation rate. Is there anyone who has tried this? Thanks.

The procedure is similar to coupling thermal to mechanical for thermal stress.
1. Solve with DC current flow.
2. Add power density to the solution.
3. Switch to a Thermal analysis type and use Transfer internal heat generation from solution under Loads & Constraints.
4. Solve again. Now it'll produce a thermal solution using the heat load you just added.
