Introducing radius to unrealistically sharp features

edited June 2018
I have a 2D profile that I managed to extract from a STP file. Some of the geometry has totally sharp corners. I have done (I think) the geometry to work out where radii start and end between two lines not necessarily at right angles, and I will try to incorporate into a spreadsheet to simplify the process of introducing radii.

Is there an easier way within Mecway that I am missing? If not, would this be a useful feature as a mesh tool, at least in 2D?

    *geometry

I can't see how to go back and edit my post... I am sure I have edited posts before.

Edit: It seems I can edit comments, but not original posts.
  • If you find the center, you could use Mesh tools -> Fit to curved surface with the Cylinder option.

This link should edit the first post. The discussion ID 605 is shown in the URL of the current thread. I don't know why there isn't a button for that on the forum.
