STL Import units issue.

Hi,

I am trying bring in a model from sketchup as STL which was done in imperial units. The model imports fine; however, the units are in metric. I could not find a way to setup a unit system beforehand so that this issue can be fixed. Any help will be appreciated.

    I guess, I can have a workaround by scaling everything smaller using a foot/meter ratio in sketchup, save as STL, bring it in Mecway, create a dummy node using foot as unit. I tried it and the ruler shows the exact dimensions in feet.

    Check export units from sketchup are imperial. Then create a material property in imperial unit before importing the STL file for meshing. Create mesh in imperial units. Mecway will then display in imperial units. Hope this works for your case. It works great for me so far (this was recommended by Victor from the "Default Unit" topic).
