It looks like there is some sort of bug in FreeCAD. When you go to preferences, you can't see tabs for STEP and IGES settings for export and import. 1) Open STEP file first. 2) Go to preferences. There you now have two more tabs for STEP and IGES and there you have to uncheck STEP Compound merge. I think it is a graphics UI bug, because the tabs stay there until you close FreeCAD. 3) This thing is even more powerful than I thought before . It merged your STEP file also on the ribs. Check attached files. You just need to do some more work around your vertical circular reinforcement. There the ribs that this reinforcement cuts are not cut through whole height and you will need to prepare it a little bit more in your CAD software. You need to do more splitting so the surfaces have same edges.

I try with freecad to fuse the atteched step file but I receive error.
