Offset Mass Load

I need to determine the forces on a welding positioned.

In other FEA programs, I can place a mass load off of the face at link the the CG of the part to see the forces on the positioned.

Is that possible do to this?

I'm not quite sure what you mean about linking the center of gravity. Mecway doesn't have remote mass or force loads though. You would need to either:

A) Put forces directly on the face. The net force plus coupled forces for the moment caused by the distance. or

Actually model the mass where it is and include some structure, such as a very coarse mesh or beam, to transfer forces onto the actual model. or

C) Write constraint equations. I don't recommend this because it'll be difficult and tedious.
