SET PARDISO SOLVER

Hi all,

I want to know how to proceed to set PARDISO as solver to increase speed on calculations. I have seen on different discussions of the forum talking about that, but I can´t see exactly how to proceed. Could you please resume how to do?
Thank you very much.

  • Instructions are here: https://mecway.com/forum/discussion/1012/improving-performance-of-ccx-solver/p1

I prefer option 4 - compile it but it can be much easier to download it from dhondt.de. The link is hidden in the sentence "For an update of the bconverged distribution replace the executables in the bconverged download by the following files ". I'm not sure if Pardiso is included there but that would be easiest if it is.
  • @victor, @jjj - it is PARDISO and PASTIX are included in the dhondt.de builds accessible through the easy-to-miss files link.
The build defaults to PASTIX, which works well for us. For those cases where we want to switch to PARDISO, we use the CCX modify keyword command, which we keep in a library for quick access.
