Questions about stress calculation results

It it noted that the stress output results of mecway include node results and element results. Is the nodes results extrapolated from the stress calculation results of Gaussian point? So how did you get element results? Another problem is how to display the stress value of each element Guassian point? thanks

Node values are the average of the element values for that node of the elements sharing the node.

For shells, element values are calculated at Gauss points, then extrapolated to nodes.

For solids, element values are calculated directly at the nodes.

It doesn't show the values are Gauss points. However, with the CCX solver, you can use *EL PRINT to output integration point stress to a file.
