MEAN and INTEGRAL in the SOLUTIONS options.

Good day everyone.

I am considering of options with MEAN and INTEGRAL.
What for, when and how to use it, can I get
advice?
It is POSTPROCESSING?

I don't see to many information dedicated for it in the
MANUAL and TUTORIALS.

    Before solving, define a named selection or component with the faces or elements to use. After solving add one of the mean or integral items and choose that named selection / component and the field variable to integrate or average over it.

    They're mostly useful in thermal analysis to find average temperature of something or integrate heat flux to obtain heat flow rate through a surface. You could also integrate a stress component to find the force through a section of a part.
