Loading partial solutions freezes

Hi,

When I run the model and want to load a partial solution, Mecway freezes. Then I have to force close and loose all of the calculation time. It looks like some pretty big files are being generated (10s of gigs).

One, anyone know why it freezes during a partial load? And two, can I open the data that was generated and restart the calculation?

That's probably the contact state file (.cel) which can be huge and slow to load.

To prevent it being created, before solving, have only the field variables you want in the solution, and not contact state. If there's nothing there, Mecway automatically includes almost everything, including contact state which leads to generating and reading the .cel file.

Only including the stuff I'm interested in (stress and strain data), the partial solutions load and things seem to be running well. Thanks Victor
