Section response to unit loads
Hi,
I have temporary access to Idea Statica and I have seen that it has a nice tool.
It provides, for any given section, the stress distribution that would generate unit loads in the different directions.
I have managed to get the stresses that would produce unit tension, and bending moments in both directions but I can’t figure which could be the BC to obtain the stress distribution due to unit shear loads (Tau). I have one of the results as reference to compare.
Any idea of which could be those BC and how to apply that shear load.?.
