Easy one for the Mecway Team

For some reason I can not reply to Johns post so I have had to make a new discussion - anyway I have attached a possible solutions to his problem -I'm not sure the sign of the solution is what is required. Interestingly I had some odd results with the displacement once I had suppressed the force component so had to reduced the time of the steps

    FYI, here is what I am currently do that works but is a pain to implement:

    -I set the modulus of the component of interest very high and re-run.
    -I dump displacements for the "real" and "stiff" cases.
    -I take the difference between these cases and create a big *BOUNDARY input file
    -I use those displacements to run a dummy Mecway run
    -The deflections show the flex displacements without the rigid body.

    Pain in the neck!
