Von Mises stress inaccuracy?

When comparing the Von Mises stress calculated manually via the equation (using the XX,YY, etc. stress) to the reported Von Mises stress by Mecway there is sometimes a very large discrepancy (25-40%) for seemingly random nodes, attached is an excel sheet with the Von Mises stress and XX,XY, etc. stresses exported via the Table function in Mecway, a column where the Von Mises stress is manually calculated from those stresses and a column with the discrepancy between reported and calculated stress. You can see in the graph that while most calculate values are close to the reported ones, there are some big outliers.
Does anyone know what the reason for this might be?Thanks in advance!

Update: I now see the Von Mises stress gets calculated per element and not per node, so that was what's causing the discrepancy!

Could anyone explain why this is the case?
