Export deformed mesh to use as initial mesh for another analysis

Hi, I have a shell model, and want to export the deformed mesh from a modal analysis, it´s possible from the Mecway GUI? Would it be possible to setup the scale of the deformation?

Would it be nice that the menú option would be available from the results itself, and an option to writte it to a new file.

When you want to deform a shell mesh, use this Modify Keyword option, so that the number of nodes in the model matches the solution. This can then be deformed to any scale, and then exported as you like.

Thanks @JohnM ! I'm working with the internal solver so this is not a problem, but is good to know also for CCX. That "Modify Keyword" feature is very interesting :-)

Is "Mesh tools -> Transfer displacements from solution..." what you're looking for? It is in chapter 12 (page 124) of the Mecway manual.
