multiple thermal stress analyses from a thermal transient result

I know how to use “temperatures from solution” to get a thermal result into a thermal stress analysis.

How about if I have a transient thermal result?

For example, I run a thermal transient from 0-600sec, and have time points 50,100,400,600 that I want to apply as temperature distribution in a series of static analyses. Is there a simple way to do this?

  • Not automatically. But I guess you know that you can do each time step one by one? Whichever time step is currently shown in the solution is where the temperatures are taken from.
