Library of Steel Beam Sections according to EN.
Hi,
Find attached a Library of Steel Beam Sections according to EN. Hope it will be useful to Mecway users.
Import into your model, select what it is required and erase the non used ones. (Units in mm)
Automesh2D can fill the contour for you to build the mesh according to your accuracy requirements.
You could also modify the shape in case you do not want to incorporate any small radius to your model.
I keep them because I think it can be useful to avoid peak stresses.
Mesh at the end of the process. Named selections dissapear once the contour is meshed.
Although I have tried to be careful when building it, it is a large collection and may contain some dimensional error.
Please, always check when using it and specially if it’s use may affect machinery or structures where could be involved people’s life.Use at Your Own Risk.
