Ghost Nodes

I have deleted the geometry and mesh and constraints for one part in a 3-part model, but when I select node view, the nodes still appear. The buckling analysis doesn't seem to be working normally, so I suspect these nodes might have something to do with it or are indicating some issue with the file that is affecting the analysis. Can these nodes be easily removed, or do I have to start over with a clean slate?
