xml file modification

Hi mecway community,
I'm a new user of mecway.
I want to know if there is some people which are familiar with xml tools with Excel.
The aim is to use Excel in order to avoid GUI mode.
The other path is to modify liml file or use some python script which I'm not familiar.
Is there some python script or xml tool - Excel example?

    Look at Program Files > Mecway > Mecway13> Samples, there is a file called MeshGenerator.xls. This is at least an idea starter.
    I would also recommend looking at the Python Scripting functionality, but you need to use this interactively in Mecway.
