this printed plastic part is trapped in a a groove. loading is 30 deg offset for axial, 211 lb. ABS material strain to failure = 0.3.

this is a airplane control gust lock. it is part of a kit. a separate part captures the rudder. my youngest daughter makes gas money with printed parts. I throw them over the wall she sells them to experimental aircraft builders. Mecway was key in the design of these parts. Thanks for a really great program.
