  Model boundary seem to be different from the real.

  a better picture. looking for flutter of the side panels. I prefer not to bolt it at the top to fix them but may.

  TAZ6 printer and ABS plastic. it's an experimental homebuilt airplane.

  Is a FDM technolgy.
  Take into account that the material is not isotropic. This is due to the layer over layer fusion. I try to explain with the attached picture

  yes, the material is truly anisotropic for strength. for frequency analysis, isotropic probably OK. 1000 mile round trip, the fairing look OK. speed gain with the fairing is about 3 kts.
