Model of deformed part

I was looking through the archives and coming up dry. Is there a way to export a deformed pointcloud/mesh of a model?

    In CGX is possible with command "send". To export deformed mesh in abaqus format (inp) the command is -send all abq -

    With Mecway, after you solve it, go back to the model and use Mesh tools -> Transfer displacements from solution. This makes the mesh deformed and you can save it in any of the existing formats like STL or .inp/etc. that has a simple node coordinate list.

    Is it possible to export deformed geometry of only one part as opposed to the entire model?

    @Hooshang not really, except deleting everything else and saving it.

    Make sure your model has no unused nodes!
