    I can't tell but it might have more advanced features than Mecway supports. It should be a line drawing/sketch with simple shapes like line, arc, LW polyline, ellipse, etc.

    It works for me after some operations.
    Move all objects to only one layer. You can keep layer 0.
    Purge the model eliminating all other layers.
    Explode.
    Sometimes it fail to me also when the model is very far from origin so move the model to the 0,0,0. Not sure why. It also happens in other Freecad.
    Save as ASCII R14
    Find your dxf attached.
